Hello everyone
Hi All
I'm looking forward to seeing how this network develops and making new friends and contacts. I am also keen to follow the discussions that develop from the various cafes. My initial involvment in this is as one of the presenters at Cafe Sociologique where we had an interesting (at least I thought so!) session on sociology and the environment. Unfortunately only about 9 people turned up partly because there was an important local community meeting at the same time on a planning applicatio… Continue

You replied to the first Leeds Salon invitation in April, and you should have recently received one for the Kenan Malik debate at Borders on 4 June. I hope you can make it.
But I'm also interested in cafe Sociologique, and other of the Cafes. It was only in seting up the the first Leeds Salon event that we came accross the Nexus and found out there was already so many other debating forums. Michele Ledda (co-organiser) and I are interested in making contact with other debating orgs and attending other debates. We've already been to a Taking Soundings debate in May and have made fraternal links with them, Huddersfield Salon and Manchester Salon.
When's the next Sociologique debate?
