Just read a couple of books (i) At Home in the Universe (Kauffman) and The Life of the Universe (Smolin) which give great overviews re self-organising systems/structures and atomisitic v entanglement (quantum) approach. Smolins (partricle physicist) book is really good re philosophical discussion about the nature of matter and the very latest theories. Kauffman (theoretical biologist) is great on the mathematical (nets and geometry) basis to the laws of complexity - let me know if you would like to borrow this. Doesn't say much about just getting through each day though!!!
